About Cindy

Cindy McGarvey supports her community through life’s transitions and precious moments. As a realtor with LGM, LLC, Cindy wears multiple hats for her clients and takes on their needs as her own. This level of investment ultimately leads to longer lasting friendships. Working in the business for over 30 years, Cindy has the accolades, information and experience to demonstrate her expertise in the housing market. However, it is her wisdom and care seen in these close-knit relationships that garners so much affection.

“It’s like a beautiful work of art–it takes patience, talent and hard work,” Cindy says. ” I like that clients, friends and family refer me because that means they trust me unequivocally. I take clients on as family. I counsel them through marriages, divorces, births and deaths.” She adds, ” You’ve got to be there to help them make the right decisions–legally and ethically–and handle it all professionally but with heart.”

Cindy has a place in the hearts of many Athenians she has worked alongside, but she also has roots planted in the Athens area herself. Graduating from the University of Georgia, she has lived and worked in town for decades, but before that she was an “army brat” and fully knew the pressures of relocating. Cindy is committed to relieving those stresses for others and finding them their perfect home.

“My job is to be there for them now and ten years from now, to listen and support these huge decisions, and sometimes advise them not to move at all. What it comes down to is looking after their best interest.”
